There’s only one Kea

no there ain’t.

So it’s bye bye to Mr. Pointy Pointy Shouty Shouty Moany Moany for an initial £19m possibly rising to £20.3m.

Ah his dream move to his boyhood club, how long until he’s saying that about Celtic and will that come just a few weeks after he says he’s the happiest he’s ever been and wants to stay at the club to the end.

That’s why I don’t now if Keane will get a great reception back at the Lane, when one minute you’re kissing the badge as captain and the next you’re manoeuvring your way out it leaves a sour taste no mater how well you played for the previous six years.

Well we got six pretty good years out of him and at 28 years old are selling him on for three times the price we paid Leeds. Though the club originally had no interest in letting him go, as with every other season he’s been linked with a move Ramos obviously has no qualms about letting the player, who scored 107 goals in 254 appearances, leave no Mexican standoff here, Levy says it would have been impossible to make him stay, especially at that price, with the way Liverpool and the player went about things.

The thing for Keane is no matter what shirt number he gets (7) and what the talk of him playing second striker to Torres is will this really be his dream move or will he be getting a numb arse on the bench or be making up for the lack of width at the club.

Cause that role behind Torres is filled, when Pugwash figured out what to do with the white elephant in the room. He has to play a certain individual if he doesn’t he gets it in the neck from the red tinted spec wearers and the ‘Pool media mafia and he finally found a position that meant the most profligate player wouldn’t be hitting those 70 glory balls over Crouch’s head or battering a pass to Mascherano or Alonso three yards away, he can’t afford to have him seeing all the ball in the midfield so that second striker role is where he can be fitted in and his profligacy can be confined and won’t hurt as much.

Ramos seems to have no qualms letting anyone go as shown by Steed Malbranque talking over a move to follow Shimbomba (© David Pleat) and Teemu Tainio to Sunderland. Steed isn’t one most wanted to see go this summer – personally can’t see why anyone would let him or TT go while keeping Jenas, can see why Roy Keane wants him even though he isn’t Oirish or a ManUre cast off.

But the manager obviously has his plans – for Bentley and Andrei Arshavin or Roman Pavlyuchenko or David Villa or Diego Capel or Diego Milito. Just a shame they sold Defoe in January he would have been an ideal replacement.
