never normally have an effect on me.

It’s the usual whenever the ad break comes on the thumb starts to go on the remote a quick zap, through the channels – though these days you don’t have to be that quick with the greater length and frequency of ad breaks – so I don’t tend to catch any.

But I have recently caught one repeatedly, every time I seem to click on a channel with ads it’s being shown and it’s like a kid with a toy ad at Xmas I really want the product.

And there’s the problem because there’s no shop anywhere round here that sells Philips open MRI machines.

Why not with all that advertising you’d think there’d be a demand out there for every home to have it’s very own “patient-friendly mid-field open MRI
