...England. As they finally beat some country that isn't called Moldova or San Marino in their World Cup qualifying group. Hang your heads in shame Montenegro.
...was a fitting game. 'Arry could have managed either of these teams in a parallel universe. He could have quite easily overseen a game as utterly devoid of skill and talent as was put on by and England side as they failed yet again to win against a team that's not San Marino or Moldova.
...love. Hapless, hopeless, outplayed and technically exposed when up against a half decent side, as Ukraine are - it does take a major side to embarrass them - and ultimately lucky. Very lucky.
...returns in time. It takes two to tango and with Italy playing their part Spain's style in the final of Euro 2012, wasn't as boring as in previous matches.
...when they said England would win the group? Oh that's right I've watch enough England games like this latest one the final group D game against Ukraine. It's amazing what a couple of very scrappy, lucky, wins can do for reality.
...according to the 'experts'. The reaction from certain quarters to England hanging on for a draw in their Euro 2012 opener against a poor French team was quite predictable.
...feel good about themselves? Opening games of tournaments have become increasingly cagey affairs, teams scared of getting off to a bad start, leading to some dire football and said teams ending up on the wrong end of a bad start.
...or has he played a clever game? I've been struggling to figure out what Roy Hodgson is playing at since his squad for the forthcoming Euros was announced.
...happening? England to only draw after being ahead at half-time and Wayne Rooney to be sent off. Any bets taken?
...has played out. I hadn't really paid much attention to what looks on paper as England's rather easy qualifying group for the 2014 World Cup Finals.
...the real Fabio's England? As the England manager's side lost his 100% qualifying record with a 1-0 defeat to the Ukraine all the problems of the last few years were highlighted, lucky then it was on teh interweb.
