...grab. Reports coming in tell of a group of Spurs footballers who crossed the border into England late last night after a daring raid in Swansea that saw them grab 3 points after coming under intense attack.
...window. It wasn't who came in but rather who didn't, who left and who stayed that made this transfer window somewhat lacklustre.
...Levy saw it. Does he still believe in Tim Sherwood? Can anyone really after that gutless 4-0 capitulation to Liverpool at Anfield?
...was losing it. The media are heaping praise on English Tim because Spurs came from behind in a 3-2 victory over Southampton, obviously missing the point it would mean he was at fault for them being behind, and outplayed in the first place.
...North London. When Jose is trying to hide his fear it brings out every trait that makes loathing him so easy. Mourinho did his best to deflect attention away from his and his players faults after a one all draw with Spurs.
...the hole. Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the two goals against Norwich City but it was new boy Christian Eriksen playing the number 10 role who took the eye in a dominant display.
...worse. Five nil up from the first game, five away goals, against a side that wasn't in any reality going to get back level, and a home side that was second to third string, Spurs' Europa League qualifier second leg against Dinamo Tbilisi had nil nil written all over it.
...that easy. Not as easy as it being out of our own hands. And not as easy as gifting it to others. Ah, the Spurs' way, as seen at White Hart Lane and Stamford Bridge over the last few days.
...Everton did to us? Last season I said it was the two games against Norwich that cost Spurs. This time round was it the two games against the Toffees and the solitary point taken?
...couldn't. But the aftermath could be the killer. Spurs keep putting in these insipid displays in the Europa League. So far they've dug themselves out of trouble with last gasp efforts. Going to have to do it again after drawing 2-2 at home to Basel.
...a better time. While most managers in the league were whinging and crying about their players going away to play in World Cup qualifiers, Andres Villas-Boas probably couldn't be more grateful as Spurs get back to winning ways.
...ban it. Brendan Rodgers can go on about how his side got the “deserved 3 points” and the media can talk up their favourite team but for two stupid moments it would never have happened.
...Milan. Someone needed to get a cab round to Inter's hotel last night, because they didn't turn up. There was just some useless mob trying to be Arsenal in red that were thumped 3-0 in the Europa League at The Lane.
...marches on. Pissing on the Spam's parade there'd only be one team that the late Bobby Moore would have wanted to play for last night. Gareth Bale won the whole game by himself, no one else was involved.
...Spurs. Will 2013 please carry on like this, a 3-1 victory over Reading. Well results wise, without those first few minutes and without Howard Webb of course.
