...so inept and craven. Spurs again wasted the chance to capitalise on the slip ups of others by again putting in a poor effort away to top six competition.
...Spurs victory. Tottenham nicking it in the last seconds, from a fourth division side, after being pretty useless for the rest of the game, it's what the cup is all about.
...I believe it was inevitable. Pep Guardiola was pulling out his hair as his team, Man City, rode their luck in getting a two all draw with the visiting Spurs.
...plan. Part way through Spurs victory commanding over West Brom, Tony Pulis looked lost, this wasn't meant to happen and how could he get more centre-backs on the pitch.
...in the form of Steve Bruce losing. That's about as much as you can say for Spurs defeat of Aston Villa in the F.A. Cup third round game.
...him. Sky Sports couldn't hide their disappointment as Spurs derailed they're celebrations of Chelsea beating the single season winning streak.

...now. In beating CSKA Moscow in their last Champions League game, Spurs finally won a game at Wembley, now they have no excuse for the Europa League or next season.
...and give Swansea three points. In true Spurs style they picked the wrong time to play one of the worst teams in the league, Swansea, just after they had a moral boosting snatch and grab victory.
...off their back. One of the most meaningless unbeaten streaks in the Premier League comes to an end in a second half clueless, whimper at Chelsea.
...for their Champions League exit. It was fitting that a soulless stadium in fake country a fraud of a Spurs team exited the Champions League in the most soulless manner.
...lives. It's happening again. On another day when it looked again like Spurs would fail to capitalise on other results and a draw would be good they finally won a game.
...lucky, or unlucky. Spurs second Champions League trip to Wembley was amazingly even worse than the first and at this rate it'll be Europa League come next year, if they're lucky or unlucky.
...losing. The reaction to the latest NFL game played in London, where the Redskins tied/drew with the Bengals was “it's like kissing your sister”, feels like Spurs have been snogging a sibling all season.
