...it's just they're sick and tired of him. Welsh Wales legends have been coming out and complaining about England's coaches making it public knowledge they have some questions for the referee of Saturday's championship decider.
...grand. Can't say I was feeling that confident about an England grand slam before Saturday's game. My confidence having dropped over the last couple of outings. And then the ref being announced.
...Grand Slam. Get the funny feeling that's all they were thinking about when the little matter of an Italian side could quite have easily spoiled the party.
...England. If England go on to win the Grand Slam or just the Championship they need to strike one more medal and award it to the current French coach because on Saturday he made sure it could happen.
...team? The previous two home victories, against New Zealand and Scotland, were good but was winning away in Ireland the indication of where this England rugby team is under Stuart Lancaster?
...smoke it. Arrogant enough there Jimbo? Scotland talked a good game and again were sent home from Twickenham to “think again” as England won the Calcutta Cup in their opening game of the 6 Nations.
...stop the world. Stuart Lancaster was really the only option for the England Rugby head coach, so much so that even an English sporting regulatory body couldn't screw it up.
...like all the best things are. Stuart Lancaster along with the England team he put together during this 6 Nations tournament have made a great deal about how it all came about in Leeds and it led to Ireland's thumping at Twickenham.
...special. Beating the Jocks is always good - though it'll never make up for the pain of 1990 - but doing the Frogs in their own back yard, even if it isn't the Parc des Princes, is still the best in the 6 Nations, no matter what state they're in.
...cost England. Stuart Lancaster had pretty much done a good job as interim England head coach and the game against Wales looked to be his crowing glory, if he hadn't just blown it with stereotyped substitutions.
...a charlie. Relying on Charlie to get tries from charge downs isn't a sound game plan but luckily for Stuart Lancaster's side Italy didn't up their game to find that first victory over England.
...dolt. It was great to see sad little Andy Robinson with that befuddled look on his face after the new look England scraped a win over his Jock side.
...him in the same breath as Beckham. While Jonny Wilkinson put his safety on the line to bring England World Cup glory, Beckham ponced it and cried for himself.
...Jocks. After all they repeatedly do their best to make the Jocks look good on a rugby pitch and they were at it again on Sunday as they struggled to keep the Grand Slam dream alive.
...for Saturday night's performance. But over the whole tournament they certainly deserved. It's just in Paris on Saturday night they were handed the Slam in a not too Grand manner.
