...genius. Apparently we all have to be in awe of the great managerial skills of Roy Hodgson after England came from behind to beat Wales in their Euro 2016 group game.
...Roy Hodgson. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the biggest impediment to this England side is Roy Hodgson and he couldn't help himself from proving it again in England's Euro 2016 opener against Russia.
...the irony. A.K.A. Defenders? We don't need no stinkin' defenders... Roy Hodgson makes a mess of the England squad and their tactics in the last warm up game before Euro 2016 against Portugal.
...fight. But again they don't look to be in the best shape when they let the Burnley Bumpkin get a third five for in the series.
...when it's obvious to everyone else. The fact that Roy Hodgson is still dithering over which striker to take to Euro 2016 shows that the biggest factor in any England failure this summer will be Roy. Can we drop him from the 23?
...actually managed to do it. The Burnley Bumpkin actually managed to rock up to a cricket ground where everything was in his favour and not blow it. A somewhat green and undercooked Sri Lanka side helped.
...or two. The build up to England's first pre-Euro warm up was basically “we're not going overboard this time round with our optimism but we're going to win it aren't we?”, Turkey might have helped with that.
...I've come to talk with you again. In a season that was supposed to end Spursy, Spurs managed to be more Spursy than ever before as they blew it on the final day in the most Spursy fashion imaginable.
...points. In a season when Spurs have put up some of their best numbers in Premier League era the weekend loss to Southampton put them ahead of another unwanted table.
...fighting. The bank holiday barney of Stamford Bridge saw Spurs lose their heads and a two goal lead to hand the “we won Leicester the league” trophy to the jubilant Chelski.
...you. And after Spurs surrendered two points against West Brom to go 7 points behind the league leaders there's actually still hope, with three games left. Gawd 'elp us.
...tally-ho! A cold Monday in Stoke, yup this Spurs side can do that, as they cut the gap on the league leaders to five points with four games to go.
...eventually. Boy, that escalated quickly, as Spurs went from shambles and out of it to cruising back into contention, with a six minute three goal burst to beat Man Utd for the first time in 15 years at White hart Lane.
...after all. After Spurs came from behind to get a draw at Liverpool, it was a question of points gained or points dropped, the state of Schrödinger's League unknown until the box of Leicester's game on Sunday opened.
...a comedy giant. Sad news that the other half of The Two Ronnies, Ronnie Corbett has died, aged 85.
