What no hang over…

…from the cup final?

Eh? That wasn’t supposed to happen was it, last year the Carling Cup win was meant to… well… spur Spurs onto producing a better run in the league, this year’s defeat was meant to leave behind a dispirited squad. Wasn’t it?

What with Boro coming off an almost unheard of two wins on the trot, which meant they had actually scored some goals for the first time in living memory, while Spurs had the worst home record goal wise. Who had 4-0 with Willie Hills?

Maybe a post cup final Sunday night on the piss isn’t the best way to prepare for the remaining league fixtures, strange that an old timer like ‘Arry can see that but a modern continental coach didn’t :???:
